Jake W. Peterson was born in Boise and obtained his Bachelors degree from BYU. Mr. Peterson then attended the University of Idaho College of Law and completed his J.D. in 1974. He has been specializing in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases in the Treasure Valley for the past 40 years and has obtained a unique understanding of both Federal and Idaho bankruptcy laws.
Jake fully retired January 2018 and enjoys hiking and spending time with his grandchildren. Jake makes regular visits to the office to keep up to date on the bankruptcy world.

Jake Peterson spent forty years on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases in the Treasure Valley, filing in the same court the firm files in today: the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Idaho. He retired in January 2018.
